Check this out. Ted Cruz’s PAC was paid $630K from iHeartMedia for his podcast since 2023.

These aren’t donations. This is a PAC being compensated for his ad sales—yet Cruz says he “receives no financial benefit” from the podcast. Image This money represents ONE-THIRD of the total $ his PAC brought in this year.

But importantly, these aren’t donations. They’re payments.

It’s listed as “digital revenue,” which iHeart says is ad sales, not payment—but that’s how all podcast hosts are paid. Image

Woah. Ted Cruz’s Super PAC just reported receiving $214,752.98 from iHeartMedia in February in a new FEC filing.

iHeartMedia is a registered lobbyist—they also host and market his podcast. Image Two years ago Cruz’s office said:

Here we go. The Texas Senate has advised Saturday votes on 3 major bills allowing Republicans to seize control of elections—targeting Harris County, the biggest (and bluest) in Texas.
