We went to a high school graduation party for a neighborβs kid last Saturday. It was mostly outside so I didnβt wear a mask. You had to go inside to get food though. I let my guard down. Turns out it was a super spreader event. The food was great but not worth getting Covid.
At least 5 people have tested positive since. More have had symptoms and havenβt tested. Several are doctors who have had to miss work or switch to telemedicine. Also multiple older people who are at high risk.

I tested positive for Covid this morning. I got it because someone went on a cruise and gave it to an elderly relative of mine after bumping into her in the supermarket. My relative is hard of hearing and this person had to get close to her face and yell to be heard. No masks.
I went down to Florida to help her navigate the healthcare system & care for her once she was discharged. Thankfully she is doing better but I was in her room at the hospital for 2 days and cared for her at home for 3 more. I did wear an N95 & tried to limit my time in her room.

1. 𫧠Bubble - gather in small groups only with other people who actually care and are also taking active measures not to get Covid.
2. π Distancing - respect other people's space (6 feet). Especially if you see them wearing a mask and you aren't.
