In a few short months, we turned our singular 7-figure business into 3 profitable (soon to be🤞) 7-figure businesses.
🧵Here's how we did it, and maybe how you can too.
First, I think it's helpful to add some background that I own shellycove.com, and have operated this ecommerce business for 6+ years. There's already some solid bones to it, and we've built out an awesome team.

"Selling in retail means you don't own your customer data"
I beg to differ: let me tell you how we transition retail customers into online customers for life
As you may know, we have a program on our website that allows you to track the progress of an injured sea turtle at the rehabilitation center we donate to.
Each order has a unique code, and that code "assigns" you a turtle that's currently at the hospital.

My new favorite segmentation of email subs on Klaviyo is:
High: 2 purchases or $100+ spent
Medium: 1 purchase, under $100
*Interest: No $, but clicked an email (in last 30 days)
Low: No $, but opened email ( in last 30 days)
Sunset: No $, or 30 day email opens
Goals for these groups:
High: Show them relevant products, and things they haven’t purchased before
Medium: Provide customer service/make sure they loved their purchase
Interest: Urge them to buy (discount)
Low: Show best sellers. Still no click in 3 days, discount
