So let me get this straight.
A person comes to Australia fear of their life and claims refugee status. Australia does their best to deny the claim because that’s what they do. But there must be merit in the claim because Hakeem al Araibi is given refugee status and Aus residency Hakeem goes about his life, plays soccer, gets married and decides to go to Thailand for a honeymoon. He is told it’s safe to do so. At the same time Australian Federal Police tell Thailand that he’s on his way and they can arrest him on an Interpol red notice. With me so far?
