NEW: One of our trains is stuck at Airbles due to slippery rails preventing it from moving away. Until we can get it moving, no trains are able to run between Airbles and Motherwell.

In the meantime, you can use our Glasgow Central - Lanark trains which avoid Airbles. ^Angus UPDATE: The driver's taken another run at it and managed to get the train through the slippy section, so we can now run trains through Airbles again.

@NetworkRailScot are sending one of their staff down to check the track and clean the rails if required. ^Angus

We're very excited to unveil the first of our five Active Travel Carriages. These each have space for up to 20 bikes of all shapes and sizes - including tandems, and e-bikes.

They'll enter service on the #WestHighlandLine once we're able to safely complete staff training. The finishing touches to the first carriage are currently being made at @BrodieEng's workshops in Kilmarnock.

As well as fitting the racks for bikes and heavy luggage, they've also installed WiFi, plug sockets, and upgraded the toilet.
