The Shawn Michaels NXT Vengeance Day media call is underway shortly. Live streaming is prohibited, but I'll have notes in this thread. I asked Shawn Michaels about protections in place for talent in NXT that could be impressionable or vulnerable. He said WWE can always do better, and the information in the lawsuit is unfortunate. He says there are some protections in place, but they will always try to do better in NXT, and it's something very important to him

Tony Khan says that Kenny Omega, Saraya and Swerve all had to miss AEW Dynamite this week Tony Khan tells Jim Varsallone that he can't comment on the CM Punk situation -- including him being on AEW All Out. They're still looking into it and are going to try to let fans know an update as soon as they can

Assuming MJF is still in Vegas, I'd personally be shocked if he doesn't wrestle tonight. However, I was shocked he didn't do the meet and greet either. I'll go into the possibilities of a "work" in the thread below MJF is a worker and one of the best ones. If he's "working" it didn't start out that way. I'm sure in any situation and scenario there are elements of that he's weighed would utilize accordingly as it best suits him or whatever it is he may be doing.

Tony Khan says wrestling thrives when off-screen conflict sometimes carries over on-screen. For MJF, this storyline has been an opportunity to air some real life grievances Tony Khan tells Jon Alba he believes that the AEW/Warner Bros. Discovery relationship is going to be a good one, and they're throwing a party for AEW in LA. He says some of the top execs in the company are coming to hang out with AEW next week.

WWE Quarterly Call is underway. Vince McMahon says there's a new spirit, vibrance and sense of optimism about his new management team and he's very confident in them. A&E has ordered WWE documentary episodes on Superstars, including Steve Austin and The Ultimate Warrior.

Cody Rhodes put over all three individual champions as being the top people in the company, and the championships themselves as being the most important things in AEW. If it matters to the characters on-screen, it is more likely to matter to the people watching the screen! Hangman Page has already met singles success and wants to remain a tag team with Kenny Omega because the tag championships are important. Almost everyone on the roster has a tag team partner because the titles are a treasure worth seeking.

Apollo Crews' last ten matches have been against members of The Hurt Business. Every match he's had since June 15 This is the fourth Street Profits vs. Angel Garza & Andrade match since July 20. Garza & Andrade. There have been five singles matches involving them wrestling each other in that period, as well.

Jon Moxley is headed up next. Moxley says Renee doesn't wanna get anywhere near his corner right now and she has an extensive non-compete. It wouldn't surprise him to see her pop up and present. She was there tonight, but couldn't appear on camera.

Tony Khan says the FTW title is going to be treated much different than any other titles in AEW. They haven't totally established it, but there's a lot in store. Tony Khan says he agrees that the Buy In is a chance for more people to see a match, and he trusts in Britt Baker and Big Swole to help sell PPVs. He loves the wrestling economy because it's the only one where people will complain about getting something for free instead of PPV

Tessa Blanchard says she's happy to be on the call and talk wrestling. She says having her family there at Hard To Kill to see her big championship victory was very important to her.
