🧵1/4 As a native Texan and lifelong participant in American agriculture, the issue of Mexico withholding water from American farmers is about as compelling as it gets for me. I love our farmers, and as Secretary of Agriculture you can rest assured @POTUS and our team will do something about it.


🧵2/4 Today, alongside fellow America First warriors @SenTedCruz and @ReMonicaDLC, in accordance with the American Relief Act of 2025, I'm proud to announce that @USDA will be providing a $280M block grant to the @TexasDeptofAg. These funds will help offset some of the losses faced by agricultural producers due to Mexico's failure to deliver water to the U.S. in accordance with the 1944 Water Treaty.
