Did you know that reindeer were once vastly native to Scotland?

They can be again! Today we have around 150 demoseticated reindeer within the Cairngorms. Reintroduced in 1952 by Mikel Utsi from Sweden.

He found that reindeer thrive within scotland extremely well and the climate and temperatures match their needs. They also bring in tourists during winter.

Just watched this, it's only 40 minutes long and can be watched on Netflix. It's a beautifully directed film set in Namibia. Highly recomend watching! The film covers some interesting points such as; the distinction between owning the land or being apart of the lands natural rhythm.
Before Europeans dominated Africa tribes hunted in small amounts for food on the land they shared with 'Giants'. A sustainable lifestyle.

Exactly! Humans are now responsible for these extinctions as the planets Apex Predator! Humans are responsible for most mammalian extinctions for the past 125,000 years. That's an insane amount of time!

Lovely to see that humans can find solutions to such big issues! This is what we need to see more of all over the world. So we can co-exist with the space we have. This method, while 'expensive' actually works out cheaper. It significantly reduces the cost to clear collisions. It reduces the risk of injury or death and sustains a population of the wildlife that may attract tourists. It works!
