These are all helpful suggestions but if the state really wants to help save New Yorkers money, the Democratic majorities in the Legislature and the governor should really get serious about making New York more affordable.

My office has received several inquiries related to A416, a bill in the Assembly that “relates to the removal of cases, contacts and carriers of communicable diseases who are potentially dangerous to the public health.”
There are a number of bills that are introduced every year that do not always come up for a vote. This bill was first introduced in 2015, has remained in the Assembly’s Health Committee and has not had any cosponsors. It does not have a Senate sponsor.
