Joe Biden created this crisis by design. He can and should reverse his open border policies today.

Here are a few of my concerns: The bill gives Secretary Mayorkas the right—for the first time—to grant asylum claims (and thus American citizenship) to illegal aliens at the border without review by the immigration courts, which will be a massive pathway to rubber-stamping amnesty.

Here, too, Democrats have abandoned the American people—especially our most vulnerable citizens.

Countless Americans are braving the cold today to March for Life. We pray for the marchers and for their courageous witness on behalf of the unborn. The right to life is the first, fundamental human right recognized in the Declaration of Independence. Right now, Americans are proclaiming this truth: that the right to life begins with the unborn.

If the Pentagon wants to find extremists they should look to the Chinese Communist Party and Vladimir Putin’s Russia. After months of fanatical searching, the Biden administration has found less than 100 “extremists” out of two million service members. They should be ashamed of this politically motivated witch hunt.

Democrats can’t take a hint. They’ve insisted on adding more policies to their wasteful spending bill that would make it even worse for Americans. Let us count the ways. The bill includes amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. This will encourage more people to break into the country and force Americans to compete with illegal immigrants for jobs.

This week, the Biden administration returned to a policy of appeasing China, a strategy that’s failed for decades.

1) Joe Biden refused to even say the word “China” during his United Nations speech. 2) His Commerce Secretary talked about the need to strengthen business ties with China and welcome Chinese investment.

3) The administration is surrendering to China’s hostage diplomacy by dropping criminal charges against a Huawei executive currently held in Canada.

The $3.5 trillion reckless taxing and spending bill Democrats are trying to ram through Congress would accelerate inflation at the expense of the American taxpayer. This bill includes tax hikes for family farms and small businesses. Democrats want to create a double death tax that will force even more farms and businesses to be sold off to corporate conglomerates so the families can pay Uncle Sam.

The Senate approved my amendment to prohibit federal funds from being used to indoctrinate kids with Critical Race Theory. All but one Democrat voted against it. The left claims CRT isn’t taught in our schools. That’s a lie. Head Start, which serves kids as young as 3-5 years old, is telling its teachers that no child is “too young to talk about race” and that “by 30 months, most children use race to choose playmates.”

The root cause of the Biden Border Crisis is at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. We didn’t have a border crisis until the Biden-Harris administration created one. President Biden and Vice President Harris slashed deportations, stopped construction of the border wall, and promised amnesty for illegals. They have also gutted successful, common sense policies for political gain.

Catherine Lhamon, President Biden’s nominee to enforce Civil Rights at the Department of Education, is unfit for any role in the federal government. She refuses to condemn racial segregation and will push Critical Race Theory on America's children.

The common-sense case for a lab leak is the same as it was in January 2020, when I first mentioned the possibility. Isn’t it strange that this once-in-a-century bat coronavirus pandemic just happened to emerge within a few miles of China’s biggest laboratory researching bat coronaviruses?

This week—during Police Week—Senate Democrats will try to advance Kristen Clarke’s nomination to be a top-ranking official at the Department of Justice. Clarke is a radical, anti-law-enforcement nominee, who has openly called to “defund the police."

We should be prioritizing the more than 10 million jobless Americans in our country, not bringing in a flood of additional workers from abroad.

Critical Race Theory teaches that race is a person’s defining characteristic & that America is an evil, oppressive place.

That idea may be fashionable on left-wing college campuses, but it has no place in our military.
