The Baths of Caracalla, are one of the greatest archeological complexes in the entire Roman imperial epoch. Inaugurated by Emperor Caracalla who was of Syrian-Libyan origin, and finished under Alexander Severus’ reign, the site is listed as a @UNESCO world heritage site. Caracalla’s baths occupied an area of 120000 m2 and could hold up to 1600 bathers at once.
