Imagine being a 42 year-old pleading with a known pedophilic sex criminal to fly you to his island so you can party with girls he assures you will be 25 or younger.

Then imagine lying about it to hundreds of millions. Even after your lies are caught.

You don't hate Elon enough. Instead of saying—as honor demands—"I made horrible mistakes for which there's no excuse, I'll take time away from public life to reflect on them," he's kept lying, attacked media, tried to distract, and obscenely said he worked harder than Epstein's victims to get the Files out.

This major report on the Greg Bovino-to-Tom Homan handover in Minneapolis at once reveals that the Trump regime hasn’t changed its plans for ICE *and* serves as a primer on the many aspects of the criminal justice system Homan lied about today.

🔗:

RT! sethabramson.substack.com/p/trump-border…Image It can't be sufficiently emphasized that the Trump regime has at all points lied about every aspect of its immigration agenda, every aspect of how immigration enforcement works and every aspect of the justice system that touches upon immigration enforcement.

It's all a long con.

I shouldn't even have to say this, but precisely *no one* in the independent journalism sphere is saying that Trump can *legally* cancel the midterms.

So corporate media should put on its thinking cap and ask themselves what independent journalists *are* saying.

Yes.... *that*. It's Month 1 of a 10-month plan and they're already illegally invading countries, illegally occupying U.S. cities, posting Nazi memes from government accounts almost daily, and publicly saying there should be no elections anymore. You think their plan is to do *anything* legally?

The question media should be asking: if Minneapolis only needs 600 police officers to perform all general law enforcement activities in the city, why did Trump send 3,000 federal agents to execute a statutorily and constitutionally *much* smaller task?

Answer? He wanted a *war*. Based on the size of the task and authority ICE actually has—merely executing judicial warrants for already-identified undocumented persons—we'd expect an ICE "surge" in Minneapolis to be about 100 agents.

Trump sent *30 times that*.

Because he wants to declare an insurrection.

(🧵) THREAD: There’s no purpose in debating Trump supporters on Venezuela. They lack the background to participate in a coherent conversation. Do they know Trump is backing a socialist despot over a capitalist who won the 2024 election by 34 points? No.

It gets worse from there. 1/ People without principles, like MAGAs, desperately alight on random anecdotes to try to “prove” points—as they don’t know how to *actually* prove a point, make an argument, hold a consistent position, marshal evidence, or maintain logical throughlines across diverse scenarios.

This is the tip of the iceberg.

As detailed in 2020 bestseller Proof of Corruption, Trump used Erik Prince, Rudy Giuliani and a megadonor to launch clandestine negotiations in Venezuela that would've effectuated some version of the deal. America is being lied to every which way. Image What the NYT-bestselling Proof Series has shown—across 2,500 pages and over 15,000 reliable major media citations from around the world—is that what we think of as many different scandals is *one* scandal: the Trump-Russia Scandal. Ukraine, Israel, KSA, Venezuela... even Epstein.

So blowing up the dead body of the man Trump deliriously claims stole the 2020 presidential election from him was part of a *law enforcement operation* targeting an entirely different leader? Pull the other leg now.
en.apa.az/america/us-str… It was almost exactly six years ago that Trump told us he thirsted to destroy key foreign cultural sites just to desecrate them and was told in reply—unambiguously—that this was a war crime.

Today he apparently bombed a culturally significant *mausoleum*. bbc.com/news/world-mid…

This anodyne BS is how the NYT summarizes the most corrupt presidency in US history.

Trump said he didn't know what Project 2025 was; he lied.

He said he would get prices down; he lied.

He said he'd only deport criminals; he lied.

He started wars and attacked his own people. Image He destroyed the White House. He took bribes. He pardoned monsters. He grifted taxpayers and investors out of billions. He covered up pedophilia. He committed war crimes. He enabled genocide. He savaged federal agencies. He engaged in stochastic terrorism. He simped for the rich.

UPDATE: CNN confirms that "the envelope [holding the Epstein-Nassar Note] was sent from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City [where Epstein was being held] to Nassar"—*and* got vetted by federal officials.

Which explains the Virginia postmark (where the FBI is). So (1) Why won’t the FBI release the 2020 handwriting analysis it did, if that analysis concluded the note was a forgery? (2) How did the FBI preclude the possibility—even *likelihood*—of dictation in 120 minutes? (3) Where’s the *real* Epstein-Nassar note we *know* Epstein sent?

Trump posted this without knowing Nick Reiner was under arrest. He posted it assuming one of his fans murdered Rob Reiner. So if you want to know how Trump will react if fans start murdering his enemies, now you know. He'll celebrate and blame the victims. Image Those claiming Trump knew he was commenting on a family dispute are not reading the confirmed, universally reported on post above. Trump makes very clear *his* understanding at the time he composed his post—which may have been last night—was that Rob was killed over his politics.

(🧵) So many people have Trump wrong. What he wants is not Putin's Russia or Hitler's Germany. I've studied him for a decade and can tell you that if his plans come true, America will resemble the Hermit Kingdom—North Korea—with Trump as Kim Jong-un and the rest of us in poverty. 2/ Nazism holds some above others. Trump holds himself above everyone—that's the distinction he cares about.
Russia suffers an oligarch class to exist. Trump may do so for now—but his plan is for them to be his servants.
He wants the rest of us in pain and anonymous as pond scum.

I just woke up from a long nap, can someone tell me if Trump has already apologized to the nation for falsely blaming the Kirk assassination on the left when—as with both his assassination attempts and 85% of political violence this century per the data—it was a far-right nutjob? He is a Groyper. The Groypers are a far-right, neo-Nazi cult made up of young far-right males who thought Kirk was insufficiently far-right. thedailybeast.com/charlie-kirk-s…

Bomb threats against the Maryland General Assembly. Bomb threats against the Michigan lieutenant governor and his family. Bomb threats against 5 HBCUs. Two arrests for violent assaults in Idaho.

In 24 hours.

All Democratic/left-leaning victims.

All suspected MAGA perpetrators. And that wasn't a full list—not even close.

Bomb threat against the Rhode Island Senate President. Bomb threat against the Rhode Island Majority Leader. Bomb threat against the New Mexico Senate Majority Leader. Once again all Democratic victims, all suspected MAGA perpetrators.

There was significantly less political violence in America before the 2016 presidential campaign. We all know why.

That doesn’t change that what happened today—in both Utah and Colorado—were tragedies.

It just underscores that revisionist history won’t solve America's problems. Donald Trump transformed politics into an ultraviolent Thunderdome.

He did it for his own advancement, and he didn’t care what the consequences would be.

It’s *also* true that since Trump poisoned our politics there’s been violence from both Left and Right, though mostly Right.

There's no lie Elon Musk and his racist friends won't tell to try to hurt nonwhites—or even, I fear, to try to get deranged others to *literally* hurt nonwhites.

And we know these racists want to cause pain because a two-second Grok search would destroy every one of their lies. Image

If you read the comments on Musk's racist post, it's person after person after person absolutely convinced that Muslims never migrate to other Muslim countries but only come to Europe or America and only do so as part of some sort of invasion. These folks are touched in the head.

(🧵) Major media should be ashamed.

The manifesto of the Minnesota shooter has been translated—and it's all about his hatred of Jews, Blacks, Mexicans, illegal immigrants, Somalis... none of this had to do with him being trans and major media *knows* it.

So why won't it say so? 1/ The manifesto uses the most vile slurs imaginable to describe Jews and Blacks, groups MAGA is hostile to.

The manifesto uses the most vile rhetoric imaginable to speak of illegal immigrants, another group Maga is hostile to.

And it uses 4chan-speak. 4chan is a MAGA hotbed.

(🚨) The seventh book in the NYT-bestselling Proof Series is PROOF OF DEVILRY: THE CRIMES OF DONALD TRUMP, GHISLAINE MAXWELL, AND JEFFREY EPSTEIN.

It’s so large—a 600-page epic—that it’s being released in three parts (on 8/17, 8/24, and 8/31).

Book One: sethabramson.substack.com/p/part-1-proof…Image 1/ I recognize that I often say this when I am speaking of extremely deep-dive curatorial research into Trump and two discrete topics—Jeffrey Epstein and January 6—but it is true: what is in this book will shock you even if you believe you cannot be shocked on these topics.

(🧵) Trump and his team are lying to MAGAs about what is going to happen with unhoused persons in DC—a thread. 1/ In case you doubted it, Karoline Leavitt confirmed today that the Trump administration knows nothing about unhoused persons or homelessness.

They don’t know how shelters work. They don’t understand mental health/addiction services intake.

They’re just going to jail everyone.

I studied Criminal Law at Harvard Law School under Alan Dershowitz and went on to be a criminal defense attorney.

The post below is one of the most ignorant posts I’ve ever seen about Criminal Justice and I only just now learned this man is faculty at Harvard Law.

How? No idea. Image Crime is a key driver of public policy—almost always to the detriment of society—a fact that explains why everything tied to it is supposed to be described and defined in exact (and exacting) terms: e.g. statutes, crime data, Constitutional amendments as interpreted by precedent.

This is the serial child rapist the Dear Leader is about to pardon to save himself.

Any MAGA providing rhetorical cover for Donald Trump as he seeks to cover up years of pimping teens—teens he'd fed booze and drugs—at the Plaza Hotel in the 1990s is as good as a pedo themselves. Trump had his own teen rape victim procurer. He even turned his sex trafficking ring at the Plaza into a business that thereafter was accused of human rights violations by its workers—who deemed themselves slaves. What Epstein did in FL Trump not only allowed but mirrored in NYC.
