I don't know who needs to hear this, but January 1 is a special day of rebirth and fresh chances, but it's also just a day.

I'm hearing a lot of "suicidal subjects" on the scanner and it reminds me of some of my darkest moments.

So, if you will, hear me out. I'm not an expert or a counselor, but I've been in some deep wells of despair. One consistent thing I've experienced in those pits is the feeling that I've always been there.

I hadn't. You haven't. Tomorrow is January 2 and it's just a Thursday. The day after that is a Friday.
