“SPRING LOADING”

An acquisition trick!

For some reason, this is not common parlance and I’d like to change that.

Here’s an explainer with a detailed example:
Kontron’s acquisition from Kapsch in 2019.

1/x “Spring Loading” is a trick played by shitbags to artificially inflate the profitability of their shitco.

Most often it’s used to inflate profits, but the more determined grifter might even boost his revenue and operating cash flow.

What’s the connection?

- A Scotch whisky distillery
- Kremlin connections
- GRU officers busted for insider dealing
- A 2016 hack on the Democrat’s emails
- The FBI’s most wanted

Yes! It’s Shifty’s latest weird rambling thread!

1/x Image The story here centres on a name…

Sergey Sergeyevich Uryadov

The big question: can there be 2 men from Moscow with that name who have Russian intelligence connections?

If not, then it raises serious qs for the UK authorities.

Here’s what I know.

Thread linking S&T AG to a notorious international arms dealer, and activities which suggest a potential connection to the Russian military supply chain (as promised). Image For the uninitiated, S&T (recently renamed Kontron) has been the focus of the short selling community but, as yet, nobody has done a proper job. And surprisingly, Wolfgang Führlinger has escaped our collective attention.

A former Mafioso moneyman (Angelo Zito) helped a creepy Russian oligarch (Mikhail Prokhorov) buy a tropical island.

Eric Prince (at the time a Trump man) held secret meeting with Kremlin contact on this island days before Trump victory, 2016.

This is a 🧵 about a$$holes.
(1/n) Angelo Zito is a Luxembourg based financier, born in the Italian hillside town of Noci in the '50s.

Recently, he played a key role in the scandal-ridden company, Solutions 30. @muddywatersre produced an amusing video about the matter:

PPE Medpro is probably owned by the Stimler family. They’re probably hiding this ownership behind proxy because of their connection to a Glencore bribery scandal. Thread.

PPE Medpro, a newly minted company, won ~£200m of public contracts to supply (the wrong?) medical kit, allegedly with some assistance from Michelle Mone.

Knox Group, owned by Michelle’s husband, provided the shell companies in the UK and IOM.
