This is such an emotive case, which always provokes strong reactions. There’s two separate issues to consider: (i) what does being British actually mean in terms of having & holding citizenship; & (ii) what you think should happen to Begum in terms of facing justice.
The two need to be considered separately. On the former, the government has effectively created a two-tiered citizenship where it will revoke the British citizenship of those whom it considers a threat. This applies only to those who can theoretically claim citizenship elsewhere.
