We say people were “treated like cattle” to describe injustice. Strange how we recognise that as bad for humans, but not when it’s literally done to animals.
Being “herded” isn’t the issue. Humans queue willingly all the time. The problem is coercion, fear, disrespect—and being forced somewhere for someone else’s ends.

One thing that keeps on coming up is the idea that veganism requires more harvesting of crops than non-veganism, and as such, people blame vegans for deforestation, harvesting deaths (field mice etc), and of course, the killing of the plants themselves when people suddenly decide
that plants have feelings when being asked to consider veganism.
The fact is that LESS crop harvesting is necessary to feed a vegan than a non-vegan, because of feed conversion ratios. The feed conversion ratio of an animal is the comparison between the amount of food they eat
