No idea why I thought of Serial today. But looking into it a decade later realizing 1) evidence points to Adnan as obvious culprit. 2) Rabia Chaudry was running Reddit troll swarm to attack anyone calling him guilty. So this internet manipulation makes Serial peak #Long2014 Woman killed by her boyfriend is a very common cause of murder, so that was plausbile motive for me. But, turns out Adnan’s mentor (and first phone call from jail) was Bilal Ahmed serial sex abuser dentist & religious youth group pederast, so looks like we’re back at that nexus… Image

A few years ago, I got really fixated on how 50 Cent's "Get Rich of Die Tryin" was such a perfectly aligned product & avatar to reinforce the tone of Shock and Awe/War on Terror Era Bush's America. Can't believe I didn't know about this fact. Bush era country music industry was very in your face about how it was in the pockets of Heritage Foundation & Coors family. But, there was something happening too with how well 2001-2006 hip-hop major label industry was playing into the Bush agenda.

Only by seeing many of these styles re-emerge that I’ve realized most of the fashion trends of my youth (string bikinis, xtra-low rise jeans + naval-grazing shirts exposing hip bone, camisole slip shirts & dresses, tube tops etc) were clothes designed to accentuate hyper-thinness One way to push anorexia is by filling the cultural imagery & store aisles with clothing that looks out of place unless it is worn on a skeletal frame

Image Published in January 2020. A few months later, Covid pandemic hit the USA and Kramer died of AIDS complications from the HIV he’d lived with fornearly 40 years. Eerie synchronicity. Reading it, you get the sense he wanted this out on record as his final testament before he died.
