On the anniversary of the #WarsawGhettoUprising I would like to share, in a thread, the final letter written by Szmul Mordechaj Zygielbojm, a Jewish Pole exiled in London and serving as an advisor to the Polish Gvmnt-in-exile, before he died by suicide to protest inaction.

1/X The letter, addressed to Polish president Władysław Raczkiewicz and PM Władysław Sikorski, dated May 11 1943, is one of the most searing and painful letters I have ever seen. He’s just learned that his wife Manya & 16-year-old son Tuvia had been killed during the uprising.

I have been saying this to journalists who assign to lobbying groups such as @pearlsNY and @KnowUs_ the same credibility as they give #YeshivaGate whistleblowers: I will try to unpack this for you all:
