Yesterday my kids and I had a deeply unpleasant police encounter. This is a story about cops, Cockayne syndrome, and a scene from the show Alaska Daily.

We were driving home from a park. I was driving, and had my two kids in the back. Suddenly we see the flashing lights. I get nervous. Like any rational person living in America who understands what can happen during a police encounter. I pull over. The cop busts out his mega phone, shouting "Pull forward! Not there." I drive forward and try to pull over again.
