I had the pleasure of taking part in this experience. The filmic quality of the scenery and the thrill of jumping off my horse to run into the dunes in search of danger. It was genuinely epic, and we learned so much from it. You'll notice some unusual riding positions in some of the photos, that is because the Icelandic horses have the tölt gait. The aid for this speed is just to lean back. It is remarkably easy to sit to, and very fast.

A few months ago I fell into an internet rabbit hole of folks who believed Jane Austen was a Satanist. Sometimes I like to wear a set of beliefs like a hat for a week or to, to see how they fit. During the lockdown I suggested to my partner that we should be flat-earthers for a while - largely because at the time we couldn't leave the house, and so all the evidence of our eyes was that everything was flat as long as the office chairs didn't roll across the room - she said no, because it was stupid, but nevertheless I have continued
