There is a very important lesson to learn from the recently concluded #ENGvAUS Test match yesterday. England scored at an average of 5 runs per over & went on to declare on the first day itself which is quite unexpected and unusual. Many people considered it to be a bold move. However, it turned out to be a blunder that cost England the match. Australia had enough time to score (only at an average of 3 and 4 in their 1st & 2nd innings respectively). If England did not declare on day 1 & pushed into 2nd day, they could have saved the match on Day 5.
