@iain_monty @shivmalik Really? Shiv Malik's map in the FT suggested the massive "forest" talked about for FC would, in fact, be strips of suburban parkland. Surrounded by development, with all its air, noise & light pollution + disturbance, they would be little use for nature, let alone trees. 1.⬇️ Image @iain_monty @shivmalik Housing shortages are best addressed by providing the type of houses needed where they are needed.
While rural Suffolk may need a relatively small no. of social-rent homes, that's not what FC would provide. 2.⬇️
