Proud Boys Elder Nick Ochs even described Hawaii as a "3rd world country" due to people of color constituting a majority of the population. In an allusion to the "white genocide" conspiracy theory, he even claimed brown people routinely beat white people in their own homes.

American Guard founder Brien James, a well-known ranking member of the now defunct racist skinhead gang the Vinlander's Social Club, admitted that AG members served as security for the Grand Marshall of the Straight Pride parade: Neo-Nazi friendly troll Milo Yiannopolous. The man standing to the left of Yiannopolous is Josh Cameron, chair of the New Hampshire branch of American Guard. Cameron participated in explicitly racist skinhead gangs before affiliating himself with AG & hangs a "white pride worldwide" flag on his wall.

Senator Ted Cruz issued a Senate Resolution on July 18, 2019 in order to classify Antifa as a terrorist group due to far-right blogger Andy Ngo getting punched in the face & allegedly having a brain hemorrhage. According to Gavin McInnes' account of founding the Proud Boys, America constituted an exclusive "Nation of Clubs" before feminists like Gloria Steinem disrupted the hierarchy where society assumed that white culture, militant jingoism, and restrictive gender roles were the norm. McInnes purposely makes the distinction btw. cultural superiority and racial superiority ambiguous; here he euphemistically calls white supremacists like Richard Spencer and Jared Taylor "western chauvinists" and "nationalists". He refers to the Proud Boys under the same terms.

Haley Adams is also a part of the female division of the nativist, misogynist men's group known as the "Proud Boys", which Vice Media co-founder Gavin McInnes established. The Proud Boys hate Muslims, non-white immigrants, trans people, and "Western" women who don't want kids. The FBI now lists the Proud Boys as a hate group. The Proud Boys often engage in street violence and collaborate with violent white supremacists, such as Agustus Sol Invictus who headlined the deadly Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville.

The organizers of #HimToo are Quincy Franklin/Anatello and Haley Adams. They are Christian Fundamentalists who believe in curtailing women's rights and LGBTQ rights and they think false rape accusations represent a problem of greater magnitude than rapists mostly walking free.
