I wrote this when I first heard about @PeteButtigieg but have never shared it on Twitter. I’d like to leave you with it for 2019:

“He’s only a Mayor.”

“He lacks experience.”

When decisions are handed down from federal and state governments, Pete Buttigieg is the guy... on the ground implementing them and having to still look his constituents in the face when he gets coffee. There is no harder job. Pete has had to deal with the real-world fallout from those decisions and still be accountable. Remember what accountability looks like?...
