His story is actually quite fitting for a Greek tragedy. He fell in love with a capricious,changeable entity, wanted her to be his alone, but when she didn't show up when he wanted her to, he betrayed her and trapped her in mortal form. He slowly loses himself after and shirks the duty she gave him in exchange for immortality and eternal life on her seas, cuts out his own heart to not feel anything, his betrayal is revealed to turn the sea completely against him, only to end up dying taking her name when he his finally killed.

An part of the passion narrative that always struck me is Pilate getting terrified when the Pharisees tell him to crucify Jesus "because he claimed to be the Son of God"

He's a Roman. Their gods are known to father demigods. To him, Jesus being divine was not inconceivable. Hence he goes back to ask Jesus "Where are you from?"

The thought of killing Jesus and inviting the wrath of His Divine Father terrified him.

I think Jesus understood that, and hence chose not to answer Him. He was there to die for us, not for Pilate to let him go in fear.

1 onion - halved
Carrom seeds (called ajwain in India) - 2 tbsp
Ginger powder - 2 tsp
Whole peppercorn - 6-8

Boil in 4-5 cups of water for 5 minutes, then steep on medium heat for 10 minutes.

Excellent home remedy for cold. I recover within a day or two usually when I drink it You're supposed to strain it and drink around half a cup 2-3 times a day, warmed. For storage you can strain and keep it in a fridge, it keeps for about 5 days but preferably finish the batch before that.

Since its flu season, home remedy for a cold: 1 red onion, 2 tsp ginger powder, 5-8 whole peppercorns.
Slice onion into half, put in a pot of 1 litre water, put ginger powder and peppercorns, bring to a boil for 20 minutes. Strain, have half a cup daily, warm. If you don't want to make a lot of it, you can put 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder, 1/8 or less teaspoon peppercorns powder in a cup of hot water, let it cool for a few minutes, then drink.

My cold usually clears up in two days.
