@mkraju@alizaslav WHY?!?!? Supreme court’s own opinion in 1984, Madsen v Womens Health Care said protesting outside homes of abortion providers is protected free speech.
On no planet was 1/6 commission EVER going to get help or cooperation from the big guys. Clarke has to take the 5th-not cooperating wasn’t really an option for him as former DOJ.
They don’t need it. If they are guilty, the guys below are flipping to save their own asses.
That Schiff hasn’t heard anything or Tribe is worried DOJ is doing nothing - ok.
But if there are public hearings, as Chaney promises, DOJ will HAVE to act. And Georgia, which should be easy, that wraps beautifully into conspiracy charge wEastman & 1/6.

Dear Bernie voters:
Our system is broken & needs to be fixed. We resemble an aristocracy, not a meritocracy - where your birth is more determinate of your future, than grit, intel, creativity.
I agree with many of Bernie's ideas. More of his ideas, than Biden's.
But ... 1/
But.. Bernie isn't just not unlikable; he's a toxic asshole.
I don't vote on likability, but I am pragmatic. He can't build a consensus & doesn't even try. That Biden had a stage full of "establishment" is less important than the fact that Bernie's stage was basically bare. 2/
In a fascist regime, the dictator gets to decide what the law says, who it applies to and how punishment is doled out. The law is what the dictator says it is. And the people who are punished or rewarded is determined by the dictator (or his people). 1/
In a fascist regime, you/me cannot choose to behave lawfully bc we don't know what the law will be or what the punishment might be - bc it changes per the will of the dictator/his people. We cannot behave rationally.
We behave out of fear of pissing off those w/ power. 2/

Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS offered some pretty interesting facts about Michael Cohen in his House Intelligence testimony on 11/14/17. "So Mr. Cohen had a very different image for much of the campaign as a sort of pugnacious NY lawyer . . ."
2/"and we gradually began to see that he was -- people told us he spoke Russian. His father-in-law is from Ukraine. He seems to have a lot of business dealings over there and, in fact, has a conviction for a money laundering-related crime." (p47).
