Fucking hell. This is also why I’m begging you - particularly my friends on the Left, who I’ve seen share stuff like this - to educate yourself on the history of Jews in the Middle East. I’ve seen so many of them share posts about taking history into context when it comes to Palestinians. So too I ask the same for the Jews. Who existed in the Holy Land prior to the mass movement in 1948, and who’ve experienced expulsion and pogrom there too.

People are stunned when I talk to them about what I was paid on the Netflix show I worked on for two years before I left. I’d make more doing a 6 parter for ITV. The worst part in the UK is our rates are so much smaller, and this is supposed to also cover ‘development’- -which in the UK today can mean 6-8 weeks of endless, endless rooms. At one point, I had to go pens down just to get paid for something like 9 weeks of unpaid development. And residuals? Lol.
