Disengaging with men you find harmful/ limiting engagement with men you view as potentially harmful =/= decentering men. Lol. And I’m tired of folk portraying in any way that this is what this actually means as a politic.

Casual reminder that when you’re doing covid propaganda analysis, you simply cannot leave out the ableism & eugenics driving the general response. It was NEVER reported as mild for disabled people. It was reported as something that kills us for the entirety. People who went “back to normal” have committed to the idea that “it only kills & debilitates vulnerable people” is acceptable. That THEY can go “back to normal” even if it means disabled people can’t exist in the public sphere safely/ will die.

The issue is that most of the women who do experience better romantic dynamics with non-black men lack the language (& analysis) to contextualize what is actually happening.
