Anyone know of a regularly-occurring online hangout for lefties? I worry about some of my mutuals with the shitshow about to begin in America, feels like everyone's so atomized and sometimes I get worried peeps are gonna go dark. Divided we fall & all that shit I'm not picky on an activity. Book club, game night, talk about news, etc. Would just be nice to check in on ppl every so often & try to keep morale up in these trying times. I don't mind organizing such a thing myself but thought I would check & see if there's an existing thing

I was watching Hasan's fire evac stream and dude is such a real one for helping his friends get outta there. If I'm ever in that situation I got a lot to plan for (girlfriend & 3 cats, aging parents, disabled younger bro, small nephews). Highly recommend everyone in CA preps, yo! Shit, you should disaster prep regardless of where you live. Climate change is coming for all of us now. Also if I got an extra seat in my car I am 100% reserving it for disabled/marginalized or leftist homies first. Ideally I could save everyone but MAGA can go to hell, idgaf 🤷‍♂️

Being an empathetic person, hating my class enemies is like a muscle I gotta flex every so often. Use it or lose it, y'know? At last place I rented, used to get home from work w/ headache from exhaustion, just feeling like Tylenol and bed. And every day like clockwork, when I got home, the landlady would be taking a walk, on her duff watching TV, or heading out shopping. Having fun I was too tired for.
