I'm only just processing it now. I had a hysteroscopy today for the first time and normally you're meant to have an anaesthetic; either general or local. I was offered neither and instead, given a paracetamol? When I asked about more intense pain relief, they said 'I should be fine and should be able to handle it', despite them clearly seeing I was in pain? I was shaking, and I nearly had a panic attack. But they continued while I was awake?
