Screenwriters, who wants to talk about NARRATIVE DRIVE?

Swear down, the day I sussed this it was like the clouds parted and I finally got my nut around writing scripts that people might want to keep reading.

Anyway here’s what I *think* I know... So what is narrative drive?

In short: it’s forward momentum. It’s the magnet pulling a reader through a script. It’s story crack.

And in comedy, it’s the difference between a script with scenes where people say funny things, and one that gets commissioned.

Something very special arrived in the post. A lot I'd won at the #authorsforgrenfell auction. A complete set of these. But it gets better... Because the books' superhuman authors, @gralefrit and @JasonHazeley, had annotated them. And not just with dicks and fannies, as expected...
