Taking it from the top - well from William the Conqueror who ruled England after Edward the Confessor - his first cousin once removed. He himself was a #Spare. He reigned from 25 December 1066 – 9 September 1087.
His eldest son Robert II of Normandy didn't succeed him as King of England.
