Hey @mikeyface do you ever find yourself minding your own business only to have it hit you like a ton of bricks how significant and progressive and weird of a show I Love Lucy was for its time? That happened to me today and hoo boy. They showed an interracial marriage on TV before it was even legal in all of the US (after many arguments with the network over whether it would be ‘realistic’, despite Ball and Arnez having been married IRL for a decade at that point)
