Sharing our latest work published at @NatureComms on charting the complex population landscape of the SARS-CoV-2 exposure history after the Omicron BA.1/2 wave in South Africa, based on the PHIRST-C study. 1/n nature.com/articles/s4146… The PHIRST-C study, led by Prof. Cheryl Cohen's team @nicd_sa , set up two prospective household cohorts in a rural and urban site (~100 households each) in SA. The study consists of an intense follow-up period covering most of the D614G, Beta, and Delta waves in both sites. 2/n

Situation updates on #nCoV2019 in China, Jan 25, 2020: as of now there are 1408 confirmed cases, 2032 suspected cases, 39 recoveries and 42 deaths nationally. 1. Many locations outside Wuhan started reporting cases with no link to Wuhan
2. A cluster of 3 family infections reported in Shanxi(陕西)
