I found the book in the collection of the New York Public Library, but not my branch. It was in a library miles away and the book was too new to be loaned out to another library within the system, so I had to travel there to read it. I was 13 years old at the time.

#Christchurch 2/5 Pope John Paul was addressing the murder of St. Oscar Romero, whose martyrdom we will commemorate later this month. His words seem to apply to the barbaric attack in New Zealand, also an attack on a house of worship. They make us ask again, “Where are we going”
