What a weird rabbit hole.

Let's track back who ultimately owns Denuvo.

Denuvo itself is Denuvo Software Solutions GmbH.

But that is actually a subsidiary of Irdeto, a Netherlands based digital security company. Fair enough.

But Irdeto is *also* a subsidiary. So what is MultiChoice Group? Besides being a really lame name for a company...

They are a South African satellite TV company xD

With AMP, google has wanted nothing more than a complete take over of loading news to you.

They can also then deny people from being AMPed. Which can then be used to take you out of certain news feeds.

This is about control, under the guise of optimization.

#JustSayNoToAMP Now they want to remove one of the only ways an average user would ever know they were on an AMP page... the URL.

And they are pretending this is the "real" version of the site as intended by the webdev.

Forget this #JustSayNoToAMP

If you aren't as salty that games lack proper captioning most times, and largely lack colorblind modes, as you are about lack of easy modes then you don't care about accessibility.

Add your own hand claps where needed.

Miss me with these intellectually dishonest diatribes. Accessability matters, but it doesn't always start with making things easier for people.

Though loosening timings can be nice for some, there are a whole swaths of options devs could be adding NOW to help things.

Let's get rebinding controls industry standard, huh?

Let's get into this in detail.

RPS is supposed to be a PC gaming and enthusiast based outlet. Quite simply they should know better.

It's not as simple as just "Adblocking" anymore.
Most of us use script blockers as an essential part of our online security.

-Scrump thread I honestly don't care about ads. I DO care about the malware those ads can & do inject.

What me to enable Java & Flash too so you can more effectively compromise my browser's sandbox?

That's what you're essentially asking for because that's how many ads are still served.

#NetNeutrality Link Dump. One of whatever many. I'm just dumping my bookmarks here essentially, for some both sides of the aisle looks at stuff. Starting with the basis of the debate. FTC vs FCC. Reaction based enforcement vs preemptive regulation. It's a good look at what both sides bring to the table roslynlayton.com/fcc-vs-ftc-whi…
