Is "#Frege #plagiarized the #Stoics" still a thing? You may remember: in that paper I promise details elsewhere why I reject the view that Frege got his knowledge of #StoicLogic from the classicist Hirzel rather than Prantl. This promise is now fulfilled, link in comments.1/6
This Hirzel Hypothesis was put forward by three German academics, who discovered that Hirzel rented the top floor of Frege's house (true!). In this new paper I show why the Hirzel Hypothesis fails. (Abstract in next two comments)
My paper 'Frege plagiarized the Stoics' is now out (links below). As the title indicates, I argue that #Frege plagiarized the #Stoics (and I mean exactly that) and did so on a large scale in his work on the philosophy of #logic and #PhilosophyOfLanguage. (1 of 6)
