It's really not hard to understand:
1. Prince Harry had been unhappy in his role for a long time. He watched the royal family and the media chase his mother to her death
2. Prince Harry felt he had no way out, and for a long time was the only spare. 3. The heir married and had children, making Harry now the 6th in line.
4. Harry met a wonderful woman, fell in love, got married.
5. Together with his wife, the two became "too popular" -- they outgrew their institutional bounds
