Thread on AOC's disastrous livestream yesterday on antisemitism. The livestream begins with AOC introducing Stacy Burdett and Amy Spitalnick (both Zionists) as "foremost experts on antisemitism", setting the stage for them to define antisemitism for everyone.

Also notice how AOC hedges to say "Israeli government" not Israel, and uses qualifying words like inherently and necessarily AOC introduces Amy Spitalick who is the CEO of the JCPA, a lobbying group (more about that later) to talk about supposed antisemitism on the left. Amy says antisemitism on the left is more painful than Charlottesville, that since 10/7 there has been a lot of antisemitism in progressive spaces. List of things she says are antisemitic while AOC nods along:

-Celebration of 10/7
-Embrace of Hamas
-Chanting for another 10/7
-Calling for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth
-Targeting Jewish institutions (zionist institutions)
-Exclusion of Zionists from events
-BDS
-Banning Hillel on campus

This is the Allen, TX shooter who Tim Pool, Michael Tracey, The RedHead Libertarian et al claimed was not a white supremacist. If they are defending Nazis what does that make them. Let me catch any of the mfers outside

Am I tripping or wasn’t there a leaked plan revealed after 1/6 for the PB and others to start civil war by unleashing violence and terrorism in isolated incidents across the country? Am I remembering that right? This is not an assertion it’s a genuine question

Can we strike gold twice? Help us find these guys who helped Daniel Penny murder Jordan Neely. If anyone can find more angles of their faces lmk. I have some facial recognition software I can use but the more angles the better.

Radfems are not in my movement. We talk about the homeless on the left as a mass of people who are victims of a SYSTEM for a reason. The reason is because individual humans may or may not be sympathetic but that doesn’t excuse the SYSTEM allowing them to suffer and die. I’ve had awful things said to me by every class and creed of person at one point or another. None of that is a reason to perpetuate barbarism and disenfranchisement of masses of people.

The only thing that I can’t ever truly wrap my head around is how all our leaders can see the American carnage daily and still go about politics as if it’s business as usual. I understand the perverse incentives but on a human level I can’t comprehend this sort of banal evil. Some people really don’t believe in anything at all except their Divine Right to Rule. It’s hard to accept, but when they ring on about democracy and the soul of the nation they’re just saying words. They don’t love this country or it’s people. They are solipsistic monsters.

This is pretty bad. Cenk wants everyone to wait to see more evidence, says Neely’s background matters, and doesn’t want anyone to say Penny is a killer yet Here cenk defends the mayor and governor and calls for involuntary institutionalization

Several people who went to his highschool sent me his name and photos. They recognized him. Here’s a yearbook photo from a decade ago and now. They said he always sacred them. Image I was going to wait until tomorrow but I’ve gotten confirmation from five people who don’t know each other.

Possible ID on this guy. Stay tuned. I’ve got a name and photo that matches with location and marine background but I only have one very blurry photo so despite all the matches I’m going to keep searching for another photo so I can be 100% sure before releasing a name.

Comrades. If the entire industry strikes and that coincides with the teamsters strike in the summer we may have a opportunity like no other. Only takes a few key industries in the just on time economy we live under.

It’s actually fucked up that all these streaming services got us used to binging and now they’re like “one episode a week go fuck yourself”. Yeah I’ve lost the ability to wait a whole week. I can’t handle it now. That being said Saint X on Hulu is really good

Deputizing paranoid vigilante freaks to murder undesirables is of course an end game for a society that fails human beings at every level. You can’t eat? Can’t sleep indoors? Congrats you are no longer human and can be disposed of. There’s no plan to help people feed themselves of house themselves or get help for mental health issues. Instead we get thousands and thousands of stories about how homeless folks are the reason for societal decay and crime. Convincing ppl to “take matters into their own hands”

If you can’t show compassion for a 17 year old who was bribed into joining the reserves and now is loudly antiwar, you do not believe in rehabilitation you believe in punitive systems. This is not complicated. Don’t call yourself an abolitionist if you discard people like this. I’ve never seen so many cartoonish takes on the military industrial complex in my whole life and I binge cspan. War is a racket. You are focusing on individual choice and punishment and not systems. It’s reductive and embarrassing. But it makes you look cool and pure online.

Attention fake revolutionaries living in Argentina: If you don’t believe anyone who has been enlisted is redeemable you’re not really a leftist because redemption is a big part of that. Smedley butler? Hello? Active military is clearly a different story but dismissing the material conds behind enlistment is ridiculous

I won’t lie. I have very big concerns about some of the problematic anti science and even downright racist quotes from one of the Democratic candidates for president and I want to talk about it. A thread 🧵 1/ Image

I don’t really understand what any of the left most people in congress are seeing their role as anymore in relation to the movement on the ground. Perplexing. Bernie and AOC are choosing to play it safe when we need radical change yesterday. The climate deadline will pass us by and billions will die but it’s fine.

Theme parks actually shouldn’t be allowed to let so many people in that each line takes hours. They shouldn’t be allowed to prevent you from taking food in and force you to pay 800% markups. What used to be a kind of nice experience is just a horrible scam now. Universal charges another full ticket piece or more for skip the line passes. Then you have to explain to your six year old that everyone cutting the line has more money than you do. Intro to capitalism.

Night after my father died I decided to go to work (bar tender) to avoid losing it completely. A guy came in to drink and when he asked my name, after chatting for a bit, he said “oh I used to work with a guy in the 80s whose daughter hard that name”. He was talking abt my dad. He said something like “he always talked about you and was so proud of you, always showing us photos”. The odds of that were too insane so I think it was some kind of sign. It brought me comfort.
