This is the same process used for the GSK SHINGRIX vaccine.

Antibodies are proteins that the body usually makes to protect against pathogens. Antibodies are part of the adaptive immune system. If you are infected by the measles virus, your body makes antibodies against the measles virus.

1913 Nobel Laureate Dr. Charles Richet was trying to use a vaccine to protect a dog (prophylaxis) against sea anemone poison. He discovered that the vaccine made it worse. nobelprize.org/prizes/medicin…2. He had to coin a new term. Anaphylaxis - opposite of protection. Sea anemone poison is a protein. Further experiments established that injecting ANY protein sensitizes. Future exposure to the protein causes anaphylaxis.
