Lying here waiting for surgery, decomposing like I’m already in a coffin.
The walk to the bathroom used to “just” hurt.
Now my legs shake like they’re 90, I’m gasping after 15 steps, and victory is making it back to my bed without collapsing.
This is deconditioning, and it’s stealing my body faster than the pain ever did.⬇️2/7 🧵
