Forgotten Monument of the Maratha Empire.

Shikhar Shingnapur.

What you see in front of you, is a Samadhi to Maharaja Shahaji Bhonsale, Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja, and Dharamveer Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaja.

And built by Hindupati Padshah Chattrapati Shahu Maharaja himself! Image Deliberately hidden from history despite its significance.

Unmaintained, and regularly vandalized by neighbouring sub-altern hordes.

In any ideal self-respecting country, this place, located in the most scenic zone possible, would be maintained with utmost care and beauty. Image

Meaning of Raja 🚩

Many Lord-Tier (in European sensibility) Hindu Rulers used the title Raja.
Its use has been mocked by many neech quibblers.
Raja IS equated to the European Rex-King but note that it does NOT precisely mean that in Hindu Context.

Our Shastras provide context. Image प्रजासु च विरक्तासु राज्यकामदुघासु वै ।
कृच्छ्रेणोपार्जितोऽपार्थो राजशब्दो भविष्यति ॥

Bereft of the attachment of the subjects (their presence as a key factor), the title Raja (thus in context, Delighter of Subjects) acquired with very great difficulty, shall become meaningless. Image

Futuhat-E-Alamgiri gives the clearest account of Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaja's final battle at Sangameshwar.

Muqarrab Khan and his sons (all were great generals) with their best troops surrounded the place.

Dharamveer emerged out like a lion.

400 Marathas & 250 Mughals died. Image Note that most Maratha soldiers had been sent off to Raigad, to distract Muqarrab Khan. The trick didn't work as Mughals didn't pursue that contingent.

This record about slaying 400 Marathas is also exaggeration.
They likely mostly killed the Pujaris with Chattrapati instead. Image

Cultured Life of Maratha King Janoji Raghuji Bhonsale 📜

Daily lifestyle of Senasahebsubah Maharaja Janojiraje Bhonsale of Nagpur is described as such:

"Sometimes, he engages his mind in the joy of examining the Ultimate Reality of Self through the pure principles of Vedanta... Image ...

Sometimes, he engages in debates and discussions with experts in various fields, including Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Mimamsa, and Shabdika, and he listens to the essence of the scriptures with a smile... Image

Why do people get so defensive about Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaja's "defection" to the Mughal camp when Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja was away?

It is very clearly explained in his officially commissioned Sanskrit biography written by Kavi Paramanand.

Problem is nobody reads it. Image In simplest terms:

1. As a child, Chattrapati Sambhaji Shivaji Bhonsale had been propped up by Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja as his scapegoat agent in Mughal court to influence their politics.

2. The 2 Mughal statesmen Prince Sambhajiraje targetted were Muazzam and Diler Khan.

Noticed the blow-out?

1. Satara Chattrapati Pratapasimha calls Gaikwads & Shindes Shudras.
2. Adhatrao Supekar Pawars call their entire matrimonial circle Satshudra.
3. Tanjavur Queen calls her husband (family) Shudra.
4. Colaba Angre Dowager calls Gwalior Angres illegitimate. All of them have ONE element in common.
1830s.

1. A case of no sources & false testimonies. Its never referred to again for being completely wrong.
2. Its merely meant to justify ritual status.
3. A false testimony to defeat EICo.
4. A false testimony based on another false one. Image

Ganimi Kava - The most comprehensive description📜

From the contemporary historic Sanskrit text Shivakavya of Kavi Sankarshan Sakalkale.

This rare text covers history of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja from 1655 to early 1660s, as he faces his cunning enemies and counters them. Image अकपटकटकोपिशाहसूनुः

Towards a cunning enemy, Krishna is also cunning." Image

One of the most recurring gripes by enemies fighting Marathas, was how it was similar to punching water.

Marathas would just scatter before any field victory of their enemy, then regroup and maintain Total War.

The first one to face this was Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj himself! Image Asaf Jah Nizam of Hyderabad admitted in 1728 how the genocidal Mughal campaign in Deccan from 1680-1707 which led to death of millions was funded only by Bengal Subah (whose people did absolutely nothing to stop this) while Marathas always remained undefeated, beggaring Mughals. Masir-E-Alamgiri of Saqi Mustaid Khan,
Muntakhab-Ul-Lubab of Muhammad Hashim Khafi Khan,
Nuskha-E-Dilkusha of Bhimsen Saxena,
Futuhat-E-Alamgiri of Ishwardas Nagar,

NOT even ONE source refers to Ganojiraje or Shirkes having ANY role in capture of Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaja. Image Maathir-Ul-Umara of Nawab Shams-Ud-Daulah Shah Nawaz Khan also clearly records that Muqarrab Khan had his own spies (officially commissioned) to keep track on Chattrapati.

Nawaz Khan records that AFTER a fight with "Bairagis" (Bargis? Shirkes), he was at Sangameshwar.

Yaksha Worship was an extensive element of Satavahana State, since the royal Kulin Kshatriya Satavahana family asserted descent from Yaksha Sata of Rajgir Magadha.

Sata's son Satavahana rode on Sata in form of a lion to Maharashtra, and was adopted by King Dvipakarni of Paithan. Getting unfollowed by delusional wannabe Satavahana dynasty-spawn after breaking their Nashik Caves propaganda will never stop being our favourite achievement.

Satavahanas established Chaturvarna with perfection. It is asinine to assume they were themselves Non-Kshatriyas. Image

A lot of successful battles of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj's reign are overlooked simply because of how smoothly they were won.

Battle of Umrani was a victory won by Prataprao Sarsenapati Kudtojiraje Gujar so smoothly that it was considered worthy as climax of a Sanskrit Akhyan. Image The Maratha Cavalry was unparalleled in its discipline and capable of marching in large numbers without making any noise.

This allowed them to successfully pincer their enemies again & again throughout history.

In this case, Battle of Umrani, it was critical to Maratha victory. Image

This is an important thread.

One of the key aspects of Maratha negotiations over land throughout history, is acquiring scattered estates.

We have clear evidence that even 1 new base in an area, like an island in midst of unfamiliar zone, was enough for Marathas to expand later. Image First clear evidence is this.

This establishes even Enemy States (Asaf Jah Nizam) were well aware of the Maratha practice.

Chattrapati Shahu Maharaja was demanding his ancestral Patrilineal zone in Ellora (original jagirs granted to Rana Sajjansimha by Sultan Alauddin Bahman). Image

Lalkar of Maratha Chattrapati.

Fanfare is basically a statement shouted for public awe & attention towards King during events.

Fanfare of Maratha Hindupad Padshah Chattrapati is strangely barely known by people despite such heavy interest in Marathas.

Lets make it known now. Image Fanfare is meant to hype the royal celebrity, as well as set the solemnity of the scene.

Fanfare when the Chattrapati dismounts from his vehicle:

आस्ते कदम!
पेश निगाह!
ल्याहज बर कदम!
जहां आ रहा है -
मुमलेकत पराईये!
ल्याहाजबर कदम!

There was an attack made on Vijaydurg, 1st attack in its history, by British Empire.

Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre Sakpal was elsewhere at the time.

On 17 June 1718 British Bombay Council declared they were at war.
& On 18 June 1718 British fleet returned to Bombay!

So what happened? Image Basically,

Vijaydurg had a fake "decoy" walling which boisterously presented itself.

It was made so that its visibility used to provoke anyone who saw it to bombard it with glee.

By the time one realized it was a useless wall, not even part of perimeter, ammunition was wasted. Image

Tadakti-Bhadakti Controversy 🔥

We've given this researcher credits & promoted him at many places.

His lack of presence of Pinterest is the reason we have to arduously reproduce them.

We don't get any clout.

Our Pinterest literally states DMs are open for requesting credits. Image Just a couple of mentions for eg. Look at the respect we have for him!

Our tweets have wider reach than any Vidarbha or Nagpur city handles that promote his research.

We ARE his most active marketers.

Factor that in when calculating whose praise and esteem is of higher value.

One of the most brutal acts of revenge.

Maratha Senasahebsubah Raghujiraje Bhonsale took full revenge of the murder of 20 of his Sardars & his Diwan Bhaskarram Kolhatkar Pandit.

Bangal Nawab Alivardi Khan had Bihari Pashtun Mustafa Khan and 50 of his Pashtuns ambush these men. The Mughal Delhi Badshah Muhammad Rangila rewarded Mustafa Khan with title of "Babur Jung" for this deed.

As soon as Nrupati Raghujiraje Bhonsale heard of this, he quitted his other engagements to personally lead his armies into Bengal to teach Alivardi a lesson.

Leftism is an agent of Kali, Demon of the Age.

Anyone who has an idea of on-ground reality knows that Leftist way of life is autonomous.

Leftists have genuine commitment to perversion of Truth.
They operate on networks, a global nexus targetting civilization as we know it. Kali is a sworn enemy of the Marathas.

The Nalawade Maratha clan, rather the entire Maratha community, wouldn't exist today had Kali succeeding in perverting & subverting character of their ancestors Maharaja Nala & Maharani Damayanti.

Of course he was much less powerful then.

Normally when bankrupted conquering State compensates its warlords with "land is yours if you can take it" policy, it is risky.

You tend to get gunned down, lynched by hostile locals, cut up by bandits when you actually try to occupy & resettle enemy lands with scattered bands. 27 Years' Mughal-Maratha Wars reached that point where many Mughal Sardars became lords of big cities and lands with great potential, but only on paper.

Marathas were dominant everywhere with Maratha Lords just beginning to enjoy their trajectory, looting the "Mughal Empire".
