Given US support for the Saudis--hardly a democracy--it's hard to see Ukraine as all about protecting democracy.

EO Wilson was a great scientist. While in grad school, his work revolutionized my intellectual orientation--resurrected evolutionary approaches to human behavior after leftist, often ethnically motivated attacks from earlier in the century. He paid a price. Famously, Wiki: "There was also political opposition. Sociobiology re-ignited the nature and nurture debate. Wilson was accused of racism, misogyny, and sympathy to eugenics. In one incident in November 1978, his lecture was attacked by the International Committee Against Racism, a front group of the

"Across three Anglophone countries, a significant portion of academics discriminate against conservatives in hiring, promotion, grants and publications. Over 4 in 10 US and Canadian academics would not hire a Trump supporter, and 1 in 3 British academics would not hire a Brexit supporter."
But:
"Gender-critical feminist scholars appear to experience even more discrimination than conservatives. Only 28% of American and Canadian academics would feel comfortable having lunch with someone who opposes the idea of transwomen accessing women’s shelters."

Karl Nemmersdorf's article on Fay Stender, radical attorney who spearheaded prison rights movement in the 70s, is relevant to the current madness. Stender was seriously wounded by a former inmate. "A few radicals began to suspect the truth about convicts.

Almost all of them now supported the police and district attorney and wanted the shooter prosecuted, even though they had “spent their professional lives denouncing the criminal justice system as an instrument

Andrew Joyce read Robin DiAngelo's White Fragility so you don't have to.

There is an incredibly powerful moral tsunami that is sweeping America, like the moral crusade that led to the Civil War. Another example of American Millenarianism rooted in our Puritan tradition and now exploited by our hostile elite.
Very difficult to withstand in the face of massive media coverage. Imagine the ostracism a player would get if he didn't bend the knee--unheard of last year in MLB. Suburban White folks are conforming to this social pressure & the moral tsunami may well result in a landslide victory for the left in November.

The 1980s: When the financialization of the economy really took off, and with it outsourcing, free trade, etc.--the consequence of the rise of our new elite, and it's no coincidence that at the same time paleocons were displaced from the Reagan administration in favor of neocons. @NewRightAmerica @The_Anti_Burger I hate to find disagreements among people who essentially agree on all the important issues. I didn't believe the accusations against Kavanaugh at all--clearly politically motivated. So, without believing all women (absurd), it's certainly reasonable to believe some women. @NewRightAmerica @The_Anti_Burger And part of evolved male psychology includes sexual coercion--if you can get away with it. Rape is very widespread during wars and I see no reason why a powerful person like Weinstein should be believed when so many women testified against him & "everyone in Hollywood knew."

Andrew Joyce on Jewish Crypsis in American Buddhism

Heather MacDonald: "Bureau of Justice Statistics released its 2018 survey of criminal victimization: 593,598 interracial violent victimizations (excluding homicide) between blacks and whites last year, including white-on-black and black-on-white attacks. city-journal.org/democratic-can… Blacks committed 537,204 of those interracial felonies, or 90 percent, and whites committed 56,394 of them, or less than 10 percent. IMO before we condemn @TuckerCarlson, 1) we should realize he's the best by far in the MSM and likely has red-pilled many; 2) stating explicit White identity and interests is still a deal breaker, so he would just get fired; 3) he said "White Supremacy" is hoax and by most definitions it is, since the idea that Whites are "superior" is typically attributed in the MSM to all White advocates when they accuse them of White supremicism. Nothing could be further from the truth: It's about having an explicit White identity and belief that Whites have

How naive/traitorous do you have to be to allow a patriot of a foreign country to own an enriched uranium plant that supplies uranium to the US government? But no, this (and Milchin's actions) couldn't possibly raise a loyalty issue.

Andrew Joyce: On Liam Neeson and the Philosophy of the White Vigilante
"In a blurring of stark individualism and concern for the group as a whole, these characters often live (and behave) at the margins of the society they go on to protect. They possess an open disdain for social permissiveness, bureaucracy, and procedure, and, finally, they are the spartan, right wing existentialist practitioners of a violent urban vigilantism."

Individualism typical of Western societies means being more generous to strangers rather than family. Individualists are also less prone to ethnocentrism. This is likely a major reason why so many Westerners welcomes refugees, migration of poor people, etc. Maladaptive long term. Here's a tweet from a White woman who typifies this openness to strangers, even at high cost. Rather than see deaths from illegal immigrants as a preventable evil, she says some citizens, who can't be deported, drive drunk too.
