@malonespeaking That's a question that I believe has a multifaceted answer. I can only try to answer from my POV. When I got super serious about my politics, David Pepper led @OHDems. I didn't see the forest for the trees with his leadership. I have since told him I miss his leadership. 1/ @malonespeaking @OHDems I do think a large part of the disconnect is that most of us have never actually met any of our elected leaders. They are just a face or a name attached to whichever party we like. I'm lucky; as a kid I was able to meet quite a few; a who's who of Ohio Democrats. They were /2
