Most Cro journals are funded by ministry & required to be diamond OA = free-to-read & free-to-publish, available at : hrcak.srce.hr 1/7 But, the authors who want (& need to= publish in international journals are often faced with the fact that the most of the prestigious ones are hybrid journals which means you need to pay for Gold OA if you want your article to be accessible. 2/7
