Buckle up friends; it's thread time. CW: Mental illness

Recently I was diagnosed, officially, with ADHD. I placed high on the inattentive spectrum, and low on the hyperactivity side of things. In my teens, it was "You could so much if only you "applied" yourself, & stopped being "lazy." I skipped college because I was scared that I was too lazy and absent-minded to do well. I also acted out a lot in my teens, not really knowing why, but it was chalked up to teen angst.

The new book being announced today is apparently a supplement for Wildemount.
Congratulations to Matthew Mercer and the entire team that worked on the book.

I could not imagine the amount of work, nor the validation, in seeing something you've worked on for so long get published by the company that also publishes the game that started it all. (Yes, I'm aware that they didn't publish the original D&D). I am beyond happy for you all.

Secondly, let's talk about all the folks bashing this book before seeing it. How do you "know it will suck?"

Thread about life and TTL incoming;

A lot of things have happened in the past 2 years. I got married, sold my house, moved twice bought a new house, moved a third time, started a new job, started a business, chose to continue working at my job while running the business, gained new friends, made some scary financial decisions, made plans for the future, changed those plans accordingly, failed a few attempts of dieting, working on yet another attempt to lose weight, met some of my idols, and finally made it Gen Con for the first time in my life.
