2/ WoW has always had the problem that much fantasy shares, that it's humans have a white European culture, whereas its non-human races often draw from irl non-white European cultures. Presenting other cultures as non-human is a cliche, boring and frankly kind of racist... 🧵

Don't know who needs to hear this, but I think the WoW devs are doing some amazing work in Shadowlands. The delays suck, but there's a lot of great stuff in Shadowlands and I think you deserve better than some of the shit you've been getting recently. Ok beer time Also in my time I've met LOADS of people who work on the game in all kinds of capacities, and without exception every single one has been a passionate and whole-hearted WoW fan and nerd with countless hours logged in game. The idea that they don't care is absurd.
