The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) is currently conducting a homicide investigation in the 1100 block of Apalachee Parkway.

At approximately 1:31 a.m., TPD responded to the area following reports of a shooting. Image When officers arrived, an adult male was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were immediately attempted, and the victim was transported to a local hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.

The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) has arrested 24-year-old Raymona Ford in connection with the death of a 2-year-old boy, following a months-long investigation that determined the child’s drowning was a result of foul play. Image (2) On May 9, officers responded to the Magnolia Terrace Apartments in reference to a child who had reportedly drowned in a bathtub. Upon arrival, first responders immediately began life-saving efforts before transporting the child to a local hospital in critical condition.
