No engagement. MPs, like Daniel Francis MP, were worried about doctors raising ending a patient’s life with those with learning disabilities. They added the safeguard of an ** independent advocate**.

So I’m going to try and summarise why the ticket office closures are a problem for disabled people. Since Covid, there’s been a major push not to use cash. So of course the money going to a ticket office is going to be less.
Over the past two years, disabled people have been strongly encouraged to book assistance through an app. The strong insinuation being of we do that our assistance will be ‘guaranteed’ but am from personal experience it doesn’t always work.

Happy Father’s Day.When I went to school in the 1970’s and 80’s wheechair users didn’t have a right to mainstream education. I was meant to be in ‘special’ education where if I was lucky I could sit a few CSE’s. Certainly not sciences. My Dad wrote the most amazing letters)
And after about a year arguing I got to mainstream school. I had to do a shed load of tests along the way seeing various professionals. it was the only school in south Glamorgan at the time that was allowed to accept wheelchair users. Not that close to where I lived
