A brief story that will anger a lot of women, but I’m going to tell it anyway.
Not long ago, an unmarried, childless friend of mine in her 40s was talking to me about a conversation she had with several of her unmarried, childless girlfriends in their 40s. 1/
They were patting themselves on the back for chasing careers instead of other girls they knew in college who chose less glamorous jobs, got married early, and now had several kiddos.
They laughed at them. They mocked them. They pitied them. 2/
